A Little About Me
Still a South Carolina girl at heart, I’ve lived in Knoxville for the past 7 years and it’s here that I met and married my husband Rodney. I’m the proud Mom of a sweet girl named Mariclaire, our “Perfect 10″ baby, born on 10-10-10. I enjoy everything about being a Mom and consider it the best “job” I have ever had.
My husband Rodney is the lead pastor at OneLife Church in Powell, Tennessee. OneLife is a church plant that launched in September 2009. Since our launch, we have seen so many lives changed in drastic ways and it makes me thankful every day that I get to see and be a part of it!
Being in ministry is sometimes no different than anyone else’s life and yet sometimes it’s totally different. We’re still “normal” people with highs, lows, mistakes and successes.
This is a little insight into my life and what it’s like being a pastor’s wife. It can sometimes feel that in ministry our life is on display for everyone to see. That’s just part of living in my ministry fishbowl.
But above all else, and most importantly, this blog is for those who do not know God or for those who are seeking to know more about Him.

I can only admire people that have a fish bowl life.
To know that you are being watched from every angle would be so stressfull that many could not handle it.
So glad for you to share your life and be on display like fish in a bowl. Such a neat name and meaning..
Prayers for you and your beautiful family..

I am totally inspired by your desire to share this fish bowl translation of life to us all! You are truly shining as the “Pastors Wife” and reaching out to the community and the world for that matter! Thank you for your dedication to us as partners and friends, your words are meaningful and I hold them precious to me. God blessed me to know you and Rodney, and sweet Mariclaire! We love you all!
